About the KLCC Twin Towers
The KLCC Twin Towers, finished in 1998, held the record as the world's tallest structures until 2004. Reaching 451.9 meters (1,483 feet) in height, these remarkable towers continue to be the tallest twin towers on Earth and represent one of Malaysia's most celebrated architectural achievements.
Created by architect César Pelli, the towers showcase a unique postmodern aesthetic drawing inspiration from Islamic geometric motifs. The architectural foundation incorporates two overlapping squares forming an eight-pointed star pattern, a design element with deep cultural significance. The structures are linked by the renowned Skybridge spanning floors 41-42, providing visitors with an exceptional view between the two towers.
